Car Wash!
Thanks everyone for the support for the Car wash!
We had a manpower shortage on the first day..
The 2nd day was great~
The 3rd day was partially spoilt by the heavy rain:'(
Nonetheless, our members were great in keeping up the spirit~
I finally remembered to keep my promise to become a 'reporter'..
So here's my 'report' on the 3rd day:
Our dear leader was taking a nap when it rained and when we could finally continue after the rain stopped, we almost couldn't wake him up:
My apologies to Hui Huang for posting without your permission:)
Our trolley & equipment:
We will be having our T-shirt sales soon!
So please spare $10 for a T-shirt and buy from us!
The funds from our fund-raising will contribute to improving educational facilities for the children in Vietnam~
So please support us for a good cause!

Hi everyone!Project Mam Xanh 09 has started~
We are having our fund raising activities soon..

Contact us at projectmamxanh2009@gmail.com for any enquiries!:D
Here's a brief background on the project:
Project Mam Xanh 2009 is a long-term development project initiated by undergraduates from the National University of Singapore Student’s Union Volunteer Action Committee (NVAC) in collaboration with Global Village Foundation (GVF), a non-governmental organization (NGO) founded in 1999 by Le Ly Hayslip. This december, we are embarking on a 3-week expedition at Quang Nam province – Vietnam.
Together with the mission of GVF, Project Mam Xanh aims to meet our objectives as follows :
1) Educational Camp
2) Cultural exchange programme
3) Refurbishment of an existing educational building
4) Sponsor a portable mobile library
In addition, we also hope to promote and encourage NUS undergraduates to be involved in community service and volunteerism which give them an opportunity to reach out to the less fortunate ones.
P.S: More updates will be added soon!~
By the way,I'm Yun Ting and will try my best to update the blog~
